Storm's End is the ancestral seat of House Baratheon, and one of three major castles currently held by the royal house, the others being the Red Keep in King's Landing and the island fastness of Dragonstone. Renly Baratheon is the current Lord of Storm's End. Storm's End is a formidable fortress, located on the south-eastern coast of Westeros overlooking Shipbreaker Bay.

The Kingswood is a forest in central Westeros. It begins in the Crownlands immediately south of King's Landing and extends into the Stormlands. The Kingsroad passes through the Kingswood as it runs from King's Landing to Storm's End. The Roseroad meets the Kingsroad within the forest.

Tarth is said to be a beautiful island. It is called the Isle of Sapphires for the clear blue waters surrounding the island. The island contains mountains, waterfalls, high meadows and shadowed vales. It is held by House Tarth, vassals of the Baratheons, from their seat on Evenfall Hall.
